2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device through your browser by the websites you visit. A cookie may be stored on your device when you visit a website; when you visit the same website again with the same device, your browser sends the information in the cookie to that website. This allows the website, for example, to remember your preferences or to obtain statistical information on how the website is used.

Cookies are referred to as first-party cookies if they are placed by the website you visit, and third-party cookies if they are placed by a service provider other than that website; they are referred to as session cookies if they are deleted when the browser is closed, and persistent cookies if they remain on the device for a certain period of time.

3. Cookies Used on the Website

3.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Website to function properly and securely, to allow you to navigate between pages and to remember your language and cookie preferences. As the Website cannot function properly without them, your consent is not requested for these cookies and they cannot be disabled via the cookie banner.

3.2. Analytics / Performance Cookies

Analytics cookies allow us to measure how many people visit the Website, which pages are viewed and how often, and how visitors navigate the Website, so that we can improve it. For this purpose, the Google Analytics service provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited (“Google”) is used on the Website. Analytics cookies are activated only if you give your explicit consent via the cookie banner; refusing consent does not prevent you from using the Website.
